Who We Are
We believe storytelling builds empathy and understanding, connecting communities, policy, and practice. The Refugee Archive exists because a global community is committed to listening, learning, and advocating alongside displaced single mothers in some of the world’s most fragile places, while raising the next generation of leaders and allies.
Mission
Our mission is to preserve displaced single mothers’ testimonies through ethical oral history methods and transform them into tools that support gender equality, protection, and better program design in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
Vision
We envision a world where displaced single mothers are heard, their histories are protected, and their voices shape the programs and policies meant to serve them.
